All big tanks: pH between 6.5-7.5; ammonia level (w/o calculation, obtained from amm. disc) 0.1-0.2
Jan/Feb tank: pH of 4.7; ammonia level 0.7 – did 50% water change - Water change on all medium tanks
Tues
- Spawning: ~1200 embryos
- Saved 300 to raise on BS (testing)
- 20% water change on all big tanks
Thurs
- Spawning: ~1500 embryos
- ~350 for microinjection
- Leftover ~1150 for June’s experiment (if not starting exp next week, Ping will use ~200 for testing out algae method)
- Brine shrimp 18-hr hatchout attempt successful; will continue to hatch BS at 18 hr for feeding larvae
Fri
- June’s experiment not starting so ~200 larvae will be raised for algae method
